Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina And Amy Clark
Hi Christina and Amy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Christina and Amy
Married
worked in restaurants from cooks -servers – managers combined 50 years
didn’t want to work for “the man” anymore and took a leap of faith to start own business
bought a food truck and figured it out!
We have a large diverse family consisted of vegans, vegetarians, teen, meat eaters etc
we have a problem finding a place where we can all eat so we wanted to provide that
We mirror our menu with a plant-based option for almost every item
we also offer kids meals and gluten friendly
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We figured everything out as we went along. Hit a lot of bumps in the road. Summer time is sooooooo hot!!! We have wanted to quit and throw in the towel a few times but so glad we did not. At the end of the day we have fun, work for our selves, meet lots of people and go lots of new places. We love being part of the food truck communitiy
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We botah have always worked in the restaurant field. Now owning our own food truck
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
We took a big risk ! We literally “you-tubed” it and learned along the way. We bought a food trailer and then a truck to pull it and then you-tubed how to drive a trailer ….but we figured everything out and we are successful!
