Rising Stars: Meet Danison Fronda-Tietz of Winter Garden

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danison Fronda-tietz

Hi Danison, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Bowtie & Brush started with my own wedding. I designed all the signs and stationery, and after the wedding, people kept asking to borrow them! That’s when I thought, “Maybe I could turn this into a business.” My wedding vendors also encouraged me to join the industry, and that’s how Bowtie & Brush was born.

At first, I just made signs and stationery, but I wanted to be more involved on the wedding day, not just drop off and pick up rentals. I love watercolor, calligraphy, and meeting people, so I decided to offer live watercolor guest portraits and live calligraphy and engraving. Now, I get to be part of the wedding day in a special way!

Today, I’m an award-winning wedding stationer and designer in Orlando, Florida. I create unique watercolor portraits, calligraphy, and custom designs that celebrate love stories and special moments. Everything I make is done with care, adding that final bowtie touch to life’s most memorable events.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting and growing Bowtie & Brush has been a thrilling adventure, but it hasn’t always been easy. Turning my passion for design into a real business was a big learning experience. I had to figure out how to price my work, manage expectations, and handle the business stuff, all while trying to focus on creating beautiful art.

Building a name for myself in the wedding world took time and effort. Becoming a trusted artist and growing my client base wasn’t easy, but staying true to my creative passions and finding a balance between art and business was key. Even with the challenges, getting to connect with couples and add that final bowtie touch to their special day has made it all worthwhile.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
At Bowtie & Brush, I create special watercolor portraits, calligraphy, and custom designs that celebrate love stories and big moments. I’m an award-winning wedding stationer and designer in Orlando, Florida, known for mixing creativity with elegance. From making custom wedding signs to painting live guest portraits at events, my work is all about making your special day even more unforgettable. I absolutely love people and partying, so you’ll probably hear from other industry folks that I can break it down on the dance floor.

What makes me different is how I connect with each couple. I don’t just make things and leave anymore—I can be there on the big day, offering live watercolor guest portraits and calligraphy that add something extra special. My love for art and those little details means every piece I create is unique and made just for you.

I also wear a green suit and a bowtie to most events, so you can’t miss me!

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was always the kid with a sketchbook or art supplies close by. I loved drawing, painting, and making things that were unique and special. I noticed the little details in everything and liked to make things look just right. I was also friendly and loved sharing my art with others, whether it was making a homemade card or helping decorate for a party.

As I got older, my love for art grew into a passion for calligraphy and design. I always enjoyed turning my creative ideas into something beautiful that could make people smile. Whether it was a school project or just for fun, I loved putting my personal touch on everything I made. Now, I get to do what I love every day, using my creativity to help others celebrate their special moments.
