Today we’d like to introduce you to Elise Van Der Lee.
Hi Elise, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I moved to Florida in the summer of 2015 after being born and raised in the Netherlands. I have always had a love for photography, but it was always a hobby. When I moved to Florida, I started to photograph more and more and people started to ask me if I could take their pictures. They were willing to pay me for it. That happened a couple of times and that made me think to start photography as a side business. I love people, I love making people feel beautiful and bring out their natural smile.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I love my photography and I hope to be able to do this full-time soon. It’s always hard to get your name out and to have people book you, but I try to be consistent in my work, giving my seniors and couples the best I can and truly serve them.

I love photography and I specialize in Senior Photography and Couples (engagement, wedding, anniversary). I truly care for people and want to build a relationship with my clients. I want to serve them and make sure they have the best experience! I want to make them feel loved, beautiful and gorgeous.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love the diversity Orlando has. If you want to have your pictures taken at a park, there are so many options, but if you like more rural and buildings, Orlando has that too. A lot of my Seniors prefer to have their pictures taken at the beach and even that is at only an hour’s drive!
