Hi Emely, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started about 10 years ago
First doing makeup only on weekends
My kids were little and I wanted to be with them all week while my husband was working , then on weekends he can stay with the kids and I can go to work to help bring money home
Then one day one of my friends was going to get married and asked me to do her makeup
When I finished doing her makeup then she asked me to do her hair , my response was … I don’t know how to do hair ! She responded I know You can do it , so I did her hair it was very simple but I was worried not to do a good job
When I arrived at home I told my husband that I will start looking into classes for hairstyles so that didn’t happen again to me and I did so Thank you friend lol
And until these days I invest in hair and makeup clases
I now work full time and I am able to travel out of State , my kids are growing so I have more flexibility
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Building a clientele
It can take time to gain trust and build a loyal clientele
Summer are slow months for weddings or events so I have to find a way to be productive ,
Managing appointments, travel, social media, and admin tasks alone can be overwhelming.
Working long hours and not be able to eat
Also finding a balance between my family and my job
Also one thing that most of you don’t know , I travel out of State for work which I love to meet new places and new clients but flights make me very anxious and is very stressful so it can be a struggle lol
But I love my job
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

And quinceañeras
But of course I offer the services for any occasion or just because you want to pamper yourself
( Indian weddings , British , Irish and able to offer services for any skin tones
I am Known for Making clients feel confident, beautiful, and heard
Clean lines, blended edges, and long-lasting makeup
And for Being reliable, on time, and creating a positive vibe
Personalizing every look to fit there needs
I am proud of being dedicated , pushing through fear and being a Latina with accent but still serving bilingual community
