Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Rose.
Hi Eric, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
After graduating From Umass Amherst in 1997, I moved to Orlando to start a singing career but worked at Disney in the interim. From 1999-2003, I was working as a manager at Disney as well as singing in a four part harmony group opening up for National recording artists. We had two record deals on the table but fell through due to poor management. I always made sure I had a backup plan and after decided to take a position in property management and worked my way into real estate. From there, I worked cutting lawns in order to supplement my income while I built up my real estate business. I continuously networked and slowly worked my way up. Some years were better than others however, I had an opportunity to work for a Home Builder as a new home consultant for a couple of years. Being here helped give me additional training which provided a different aspect of how things are done on the new construction side. I was able to take this knowledge and apply it back to residential sales. I felt my skills were best utilized to help both buyers and sellers instead of catering just to the seller’s side. I wanted to make sure every party involved had a fair deal and that is what I bring to the table today. Fast forward a few years later, I became a general sales manager for a prominent Keller Williams
Team out of Lake Mary, Florida and for two years help increase their revenues. I then transitioned to Berkshire Hathaway and the team I was managing at Keller Williams, decided on their own, that they wanted to make the switch with me. We all ended up helping each other build each other’s business. For the next two years, I strived and became one of the top 5 agents in our office, Top 16% nationally ranked in the Berkshire Company and was recognized and became a Bronze member of Orlando Regional Association’s million dollar Club Top Producers. Fast forward to the present, I have been afforded the opportunity to work with a company, Next Move, which caters to sports athletes and entertainers. So I have recently gone back to the Keller Williams company working in this new venture that I have been waiting for since I started my career. It’s funny how things happen because a month ago, one of our former singing members reach out to us and said some of our old music was playing overseas and since we now have access to do things ourselves, he suggested we release some of our old songs in an album. So on October 1st, we did just that. In addition, there was a jingle contest recently held by Morgan and Morgan law firm. So I wrote the jingle in a few days, one of the members arrange the harmonies, had the guys record it from their homes and then submitted it. We will now wait and see who the winner is by the end of October. Ultimately, getting to this point wasn’t easy and it has taken a lot of hard work and networking with persistence
and some luck. However, I am at a point where I feel I am about to soar beyond what I could have ever imagined.
Prior to entering real estate, Eric Rose’s career in the music and film industry afforded him opportunities to work with Grammy/Emmy award-winning producers and directors, and he also shared the stage with national recording artists. As fate would have it, after a five-year run, his career shift brought him into property management. Commencing his Real Estate career in 2003, Eric has spent the first part of his career working in the property management sector, with the last 15 years bringing an extensive amount of experience to multiple Real Estate transactions. In 2017 he was hired as the general sales manager for a prominent Keller Williams Team. Increasing sales volume and beating previous year’s numbers was proven by the team’s consistent awards achieved as top closed group and top sales volume. In 2019 he was afforded the opportunity to work for Berkshire Hathaway and in 2020 his persistence has led him to be ranked top 5 in the Winter Springs Berkshire Office, ranked 16% nationally with Berkshire Hathaway and increased his sales volume by 33%. In 2020 Eric has also been recognized as an ORRA Top Producer Million Dollar Club member.
However, Eric realizes it’s not about the awards or the accolades that matter, it’s about taking the time to listen to people and understand what they want. Eric has a genuine

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road, there have been many years where sales were low but I was always resourceful and
made sure I had a backup plan to supplement. There was a year where I was injured and had a hairline fracture on both sides of my jaw and couldn’t work for a few months because I ended up having vertigo.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I work as a residential realtor working with buyers, sellers and investors. My main goal is to make sure all my clients have the same level of customers service no matter if they are private clients or first-time home buyers. I believe
everyone should have the highest customer service experience. I am most proud of my work ethic and the ability to always be available for my clients. I think it is safe to say if you ask any of my clients, they are very impressed at how easy it is to reach me. If for some reason I am in a meeting, I will text them back right away letting them know I will call as soon as I am finished. I believe that sets me apart from many agents. The common complaint from customers is that they can never reach their realtor. I am very upfront with my clients and never sugarcoat anything. I want them to know exactly what they are getting into and make sure communication is clear from the start so there are no misunderstandings. I feel when you take care of others, those good deeds always come back, and it has done just that for me in the referrals I receive.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
A lot of my clients did not know I sang in an r&b group almost immediately out of college. I also worked as an assistant casting director for a year and casted myself in a few movies as an extra/stand in. Some of the movies I worked on were the Waterboy, Instinct, Walking across Egypt and some various shows.
