Rising Stars: Meet Fanny Masci of CELEBRATION

Today we’d like to introduce you to Fanny Masci

Fanny, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Fanny Masci, and I am originally from France. In 2017, my family, which includes my wonderful husband and our two amazing sons, made the exciting move to Florida. Since then, we’ve welcomed a third lovely son into our family !
Before relocating, I was a florist and owned my own stores in France, where I truly enjoyed expressing my creativity. In Florida, I continued to pursue my passion for creativity by opening a store in Celebration, which I ran for six years. In my shop, I offered a variety of products including jewelry, accessories, cosmetics,…
Driven by a desire to connect more deeply with the Disney community, I launched my own jewelry brand called “My Happy Place Design”. My inspiration stemmed from wanting to create something special for those who miss the parks and want to carry a piece of that magic with them until their next visit. During my own trips, I often searched for jewelry that I could wear everyday, not too obvious, but I could never find what I was looking for.
“My Happy Place” features designs that highlight the locations of our favorite magical places in subtle and dainty jewelry, along with other products. I’m thrilled to share that we’ve expanded our offerings to include jewelry cases, and new locations. We also offer medallion with phrases like “Florida is … My Happy Place”. Retailers have started reaching out to us to carry our collection, which is incredibly exciting.
I truly love my brand and the community we’ve built around it, and I look forward to continuing to share magic and memories through our products.

In addition to my work with “My Happy Place,” I enjoy sharing my new life in Florida, especially my proximity to the parks. I’m passionate about helping others realize their dreams of traveling to Walt Disney World. To support this, I’ve created my own social media platforms where I assist fellow French travelers with their questions and concerns.
Moreover, I contribute to a podcast focused on helping people prepare for their vacations to Walt Disney World. This role is both exciting and rewarding, as it allows me to share valuable information and insights to enhance their experience at the parks.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Today, we find ourselves perfectly happy with our lives and careers, but it has certainly been a journey. The transition from France to the US posed its challenges, from navigating legal procedures to being separated from family, yet we persevered despite the struggles. I’m particularly proud of my family.
On the business front, I have always had a passion for creating. After establishing my business in France, I faced the task of reinventing it in Florida. Initially, I opened a store, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but I sought greater freedom and an outlet for my creativity. That’s when I decided to launch my own brand, a tribute to the parks and locations I love the most.
Selling online and through social media presents a different set of challenges compared to operating in a brick-and-mortar store, but I genuinely enjoy it. Each day brings new opportunities for learning and growth, and I embrace the journey as it continues to evolve.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
“My Happy Place” is a concept I developed from the ground up. While I certainly wanted a connection to Disney, my goal was to create something entirely unique. The inspiration came to me during a sleepless night while I was pregnant with my third child. It was as if everything fell into place at once—the name, logo, icon, concept, and even the design for the display cards.
I envisioned a product that I would have sought out myself when looking for a subtle reminder of “My Happy Place.” My customers appreciate the quality of the jewelry, the uniqueness of the concept, and how the maps on the display cards represent the locations related to their pieces. I also take great care to ensure that each order is beautifully packaged, which adds to the overall experience.
I take great pride in my brand and what it represents. We are all connected through our deep love for certain locations and the feelings of nostalgia that can arise from missing them. My jewelry is designed to bring joy and hope, serving as a tangible reminder of those cherished places.
“With “My Happy Place”, always feel like you have a piece of “home” with you” is our slogan.
