Today we’d like to introduce you to Francessca Tuggle.
Hi Francessca, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have had the idea for a Mobile or Traveling Luxury Florist since about 2017 but never had the opportunity to launch such a thing due to college courses, as well as the part-time positions I found myself in simultaneously. Until I was furloughed from my Executive Lounge Attendant role within the Hilton franchise as a result of Covid, I hadn’t the chance- but as soon as this happened in March 2020, Goldie’s Flower Truck was born. As most families were unable to visit their loved ones for months, especially around Mother’s Day, business really started *blooming.* As early as February 2020, I assisted with Wedding Florals; however, April 2020 is when I began designing for brides on my own. Since then, I have served 27 couples & counting! This summer alone, I’ll be designing for 13 more brides.
Absolutely everything I have done, am doing, and will do is >>because of & for Jesus Christ<< whom I have a personal relationship with through Faith. Nothing I could’ve done on my own brought me to where I am today, and it is all for His Glory that I continue assisting couples enter into marriage together. I’ve been constantly collaborating with other industry creatives for over one year now; additionally, which I also contribute very much to Goldies’ success!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I personally would say that launching this business has been one of the most exciting and smoothly-increasing projects I’ve ever done in my life! The Lord has really provided opportunity after opportunity for me to grow and for the business to *blossom* (also through the help of many different people & places). I would say the only challenge my business has faced is singularly that: because of my faith, there are those that don’t want to do business with me. However, I have yet to become truly discouraged by any group of such people, primarily because I know that as long as I’m doing the Lord’s work & following his Will in my career, I cannot go wrong.
I find it very important as my business continues growing and my team continues booking weddings or events that I always treat people with kindness, whether I am treated that same way or not. I believe helping/serving others is a huge part of my calling as a Believer, as well as Wedding Vendor!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We brand ourselves as a Traveling Luxury Wedding Florist, full-time. As well as a Mobile Flower Cart when clients request it specifically. I specialize in designing custom floral arrangements that are unique to each & every bride, as well as special to my heart. In the Central Florida area, Goldie’s Flower Truck is known as being one of the most affordable Wedding & Every-Day Florists around- we’ve been told this on several occasions! I am definitely most proud of how far the brand has come; what started as every-day delivery dreams has grown beautifully into an established & well-known Florida Vendor brand. I give all the Glory to God, and I think this is what also sets my company apart from others.
When a company has chosen to build its foundation on the only constant thing in life, it makes running said company a great deal easier. The most positive feedback I receive from clients is that I am friendly, responsive, and kind, while my work is both affordable and of great quality. I think this helps us stand out even more so.
What matters most to you?
Integrity, honesty, transparency, and principle matters most to me and my team. The reason for this is because, without integrity, how can we serve others well? Without honesty, how can we be a trusted brand? Without transparency, how can we claim to value our clientele? And without principles, how would we treat others fairly always? Once again, Faith in God has very much to do with this answer- but we wouldn’t have it any other way, as Christ is the ENTIRE foundation of our company.
