Today we’d like to introduce you to Francisco Rodriguez.
Hi Francisco, I’m so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started out doing Marketing for local farmers market vendors in the East Orlando Farmers Market, The Sanford Farmers Market, and the Longwood Farmers Market. From there, I went into Marketing for Roofing Companies and graduated to an attorney referral service. I am currently working in Marketing for a distribution company called Aragoso South. Through the years, I have also started to help with artist events (singers+rappers) and specialized events. Which is how we got into Fuck Up Nights Orlando. Fuck Up Nights is an international brand that is established in 300+ cities across the globe. We are a global movement that digs gold out of failure stories. We are a punk rock version of Ted Talks!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been a winding road filled with strained relationships, burned bridges, and wasted time.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am now concentrating on establishing Fuck Up Nights Orlando as a pivotal entity in Orlando’s Culture. I am most proud of the reaction of those to whom we explain the concept and how involved they want to get. What sets me apart from others is how dedicated I am to growth. I work every day all day.
What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I am learning now is valuing yourself. I have given a lot of time and energy in pursuit of experience, but now I am at a point where my time is too expensive, and I have to learn that every day.
