Today we’d like to introduce you to Giselle Ramos.
Hi Giselle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m a creative and innovative person at heart, and creating is truly my passion. That passion is what drove me to start my own company,Event by Bergi Create, L.L.C. I’ve spent over ten years building experience in marketing and event planning back in the Dominican Republic, and when I moved here, I decided to turn that experience into my own venture. Today, Evenker by Verge Create is still young, about a year old, but it’s built on a decade of hands-on expertise in bringing people’s celebrations to life, from birthdays and graduations to weddings, proposals, and even realtor closing events.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Being new in this market, one of the biggest challenges has been getting my work recognized and properly valued. There’s a lot of unfair competition out there, people who don’t have the experience, the quality, or the professional materials I use, but who charge prices far below what quality work actually requires. So my biggest struggle has been standing out and helping clients understand that the creativity, the design, and the hours of dedication behind every event are exactly what they’re paying for.

Event girl by Bergy, I work as a full event planner, meaning I guide clients from the very first idea all the way through the complete execution of their event. I specialize in weddings and marriage proposals, that’s truly where my heart is, but I also handle birthdays, graduations, speech hours, and decor. One thing I’ve become especially known for is creating closing setups for realtors when they sell a home, adding a special, memorable touch to that moment. What I’m most proud of is bringing over ten years of marketing and event experience from the Dominican Republic into a brand-new venture here, and still delivering the same level of quality and creativity from day one. What sets me apart is that I don’t cut corners: I use professional materials, I put real hours of dedication into every design, and every event reflects the creativity and care that this work deserves.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is truly enjoying the work I do and giving it the time it deserves, because this is something I’m passionate about. I love helping my clients bring their vision to life without limiting my creativity or holding back anything I can offer them, so they feel that their event was truly elevated. And just as important is my family. Turning something I love into a real source of income allows me to support my family and provide for my children’s well-being. That combination, passion and purpose, is what drives me every day.
