Today we’d like to introduce you to Hugo Lopez.
Hi Hugo, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We (my wife Yazmin and me) started with a blog where we told our adventures as Papis Por Primera Vez 9 years ago, we told our adventures traveling with twins since they were 2 months old, then the community was growing and we got to Facebook, Instagram, now youtube and now starting in TikTok.
Our main motive was to share with more parents like us who were starting this adventure.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been an incredible journey, with ups and downs, in our time, blogs like ours were not monetized in Peru, and a year after starting it, sponsors began to arrive, and unintentionally, it became an important income, so much so that we left our dependent jobs, to undertake and create more content and ventures around our brand.
Currently, we have in addition to our digital channels, our own digital marketing agency where we are dedicated to creating digital and audiovisual strategies for various brands, we are travel agents and we have a team of professionals that work with us to create the best digital and audiovisual strategies for our clients.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Our work as content creators led us to be certified travel agents by Disney and Universal, work that we are very happy because we can continue helping our travelers and now receiving payment from Disney or Universal for accompanying our followers on these adventures, we love to do it because we live the magic of Disney as a family since Marcelo and Leonardo are 3 years old and since then we do not stop traveling every year.
Our followers trust our recommendation so much that they trust us with their magical trips to Disney with their eyes closed and that makes us very happy and proud of our work.
