Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaden Lovelle.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hello, I’m Jaden Lovelle, I’m from Jacksonville Florida. I graduated from the #1 HBCU Florida A & M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in graphic design. After graduation, I am currently enrolled at Full Sail University Mastering in Film. Eventually, I want to become a Producer in the industry. I have a strong passion for live events, movies, live shows as well as fashion. Since the beginning of time, I’ve always been fascinated with entertainment.
I remember being little and creating a whole theme park and researching and calling companies to write down the prices of every part of building a theme park. I also remember giving presentations to my parents on business ideas after I had done extensive research. After attending film school I had a full circle moment of being a kid looking up still and organizing my thoughts and information to later find out this all ties into being a producer.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
One of the struggles I came across is self-doubt. I struggle with not recognizing my accomplishments and feeling like I’m never doing enough. I have to take a step back and realize I’m successful I’ve accomplished a lot take a deep breath and keep pushing.
Another major struggle was post-graduation depression. You can prepare for everything but once you graduate it’s time to get into the real world it’s almost a shock but I overcame it.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m Jaden Lovelle an aspiring producer at Full Sail University. I’ve been the producer for over 5 films. I enjoy the organization of the set during pre-production and throughout the whole process. Paperwork makes me happy.
Paying close attention and problem-solving is my calling. I’m proud of the growth and my passion to learn more and put in the extra work to be the best at what I do. I’m also a hair influencer on TikTok and Instagram. This happened out of nowhere one day I posted my braids and the people loved it and It took off ever since. Since film school my video quality has improved 100% and my social media presence grew.
I’m super excited I took advantage of Full Sail University.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
One important lesson I learned is “Only tell what you don’t mind being repeated”. This is something my mom instilled in me growing up. When I was younger I didn’t understand now I understand 100%. Only tell what you want people to know people will take information from you and flip it in multiple ways. This also supports the topic of not sharing good news until it’s in the works and set in stone. I’ve also learned that hard work beats talent.
Working hard has got me more attention from my professors than the students who may know more than me. Also, one last important lesson Is never to be afraid to ask a question. The saying “Closed mouths don’t get fed” is accurate I’ve missed out on opportunities because I was afraid or didn’t want to speak up when it was needed.
