Rising Stars: Meet Jeremy Singh of Orlando

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Singh

Hi Jeremy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started TikTok in 2020 in the beginnings of the pandemic as a way of creative escape. I went from making content about my hyper fixations at the time to leaning into my love for fantasy and fashion, specifically through the lens of Disney. I started creating videos about different Disneybounds I assembled from pieces in my closet and began posting them to the internet which is when my following really began to grow. However, things wouldn’t truly kick off until April of 2021 as I attended my first Dapper Day event at Walt Disney World. I designed and pieced together an outfit based on Mary Poppins and decided to meet some of the characters throughout the day and compiled those interactions into a video. It was the beginning of my “Characters React” series and it went VIRAL. It was all over Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, and even had a Newsweek article written about it. From there, my following skyrocketed, my outfits got more ambitious, and I fully leaned into the content creator lifestyle. I’ve gotten to do some really cool things since then, like attending premieres, interviewing celebrities, and traveling all over the country for different events. It’s been really cool to see the way I’ve evolved while also remaining true to my core value – there’s no greater power than learning to be unapologetically yourself.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As with all good things, it’s certainly had its challenges. From changes in the industry to personal struggles like imposter syndrome and creative blocks, I find it’s certainly not all glamorous all the time. But having the most incredible support system in the world in my friends, family, and followers has helped me navigate it all.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Currently, I’m a Fashion/Pop Culture Content Creator that is always designing and always has a pulse on the world of entertainment. People most know me from my creative, colorful designs and my eye for fashion. They also know me for my love of fantasy worlds – whether it be Disney, Universal, or Musical Theatre. I’m most proud of the way I’ve managed to hone and develop my design skills and create some truly incredible pieces that I’ve had the honor of wearing to some really awesome events.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
The thing about the world of social media is that it’s constantly changing, and changing FAST. So you can never really be too sure about which direction things will head. I’m hopeful though that I will continue to develop my craft and integrate myself into the world of pop culture even more so, whether it be hosting carpets at events or interviewing celebrities for upcoming movies.
