Today we’d like to introduce you to Kellie Fredrickson.
Hi Kellie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I got my start back in spring 2018 on my first Disney college program, where I worked as a photo pass photographer at the Magic Kingdom. Prior to that, I had won awards for my photography, however, working at Disney is what inspired me to create my Disney blog @kelliefromthekingdom.
After my program ended, I made my first post but I didn’t take my page seriously until my second program, spring 2020 got cut short due to the covid pandemic. While in quarantine I thought, there couldn’t be a better time to start taking my blog more seriously and that is the beginning of the version of @kelliefromthekingdom you know today. In the past year, I have gained over 8,000 followers, have worked with over 30 brands and have been hosted by over 20 restaurants in the Orlando area. I truly love this city and what I do!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like in anything you do, you have good days and you have bad days. Being in social media you have to have a thick skin and realize that not everyone wants to see you succeed and that’s just part of it. In my experience, though, the good far outweighs the bad! I have made so many amazing friends and have had so many cool opportunities through my account!

I am probably most known for my outfits, makeup and hair and talking about my experience as a photo pass photographer!
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
There is so much to love about Orlando! I love the theme parks; I love all the coffee shops downtown, I love winter park, I love the nightlife, I could go on and on! If I had to choose one thing I disliked about living in Orlando is has to be the traffic!!
