Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Barillas
Hi Kevin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I had been studying Pre-Law from 2016-2019 and was working at a Law Firm after I had graduated. Everything was running smoothly according my peers, but for some reason I was not satisfied with where I was headed, simply because I had lost that spark and was not enjoying the corporate life. I knew I had to make a risky decision, so I put in my 2 weeks notice and made the leap to start pursuing film and photography by working as an assistant with an event manager in Miami. I took that time to learn how to improve my creativity and started networking around the most influential areas in Miami, like Brickell, Wynwood, Coral Gables, etc. Around 2021 is when I, along with some of my friends, took the initiative in creating OE 222 Productions. Through sheer determination, we were able to start working at Weddings, Events, Sports, Restaurants, and helping in create amazing content for various businesses. Fast forward to now, I moved to Orlando and began making new moves here as well, while my friend Maynor handles the clientele back in Miami. As of right now, I also became a Central Florida Travel Guide with more than 35K followers on Instagram. I have collaborated and worked with reputable businesses like the Hard Rock, Margaritaville at Sea, Several AirBnB’s, Restaurants and Event Venues. I have been blessed throughout this entire journey, and even during tough situations, I have learned to handle the pressure and continue thriving.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It was not always a smooth road, there were a couple of bumps along the road. Some of those ranged from taking gigs in the beginning that were not paying as much as I wanted to at the time, while simultaneously losing money from the far drives I had to make. However, I knew that the end goal would be worth it. I learned which clientele appreciated my craft and respected my fee. And as a result, I was able to build up a company that has seen improvement and has made an impact in South and Central Florida.

I specialize in Professional Photography and Videography, as well as being a travel influencer on Instagram with more than 35K followers. I have experience in filming and taking photos of weddings, sporting events, restaurants, and other venues in Miami, Orlando, and Tampa.
I am most proud of the amazing people I have met along the way and the great friendships that came out of my personal journey. Those connections that I have made have open so many doors to new opportunities. What sets me apart would be my ability to handle pressure, stress, and coming out on top as a better and stronger individual.
