Today we’d like to introduce you to Khrystiana D.
Hi, Khrystiana. I am so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I started as the CEO of my cosmetics brand when I was 4, but when I turned 5, I wanted to model and act, so I asked my Mommy and Daddy if I could focus on that instead. They said “yes,” so now I have the best time doing what I love.
Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
The transition wasn’t a walk in the park. While changing my focus was relatively easy, the realities of the modeling and acting world were a stark contrast to my previous entrepreneurial endeavors. The attention, the auditions, the rejections-they all posed significant challenges. But I’ve learned to view each audition as a step closer to my dream of working with Crystal Renee Hayslett, and that keeps me going.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Currently, I’m pursuing my passion as a model and actor, represented by Karen Greer Model & Talent. My work spans across print, commercials, and film. Additionally, I enjoy creating skits on Instagram, where I pay homage to my favorite actor, Crystal Renee Hayslett. Recently, I had the opportunity to be part of a music video, which was an absolute blast-we got to play on the playground and indulge in ice cream!
What were you like growing up?
I’m only 6, so I still have to grow up a lot, but I’m super shy (until someone puts me in front of a camera). I’m nice. I help others and work super hard to be a great actor. I love people, animals, and anything related to water.
