Hi Krista, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Krista, owner of K Monae’s Events & More based in Central, Fl. I started my entrepreneur journey about two years ago as an interior decorator. After some time, I realized I had a passion for event planning. I now have a full-service event company specializing in event planning, coordinating & decor. Birthdays, retirement parties, bridal showers, weddings, corporate events & so much more.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
At first, the road was rough. Being a new business owner can be hard at times learning different techniques or gaining cliental. A few struggles I have encountered along the way trying to not overbook and rush through the next event. Although at times the road may not seem easy, I often remind myself “Give Yourself Some Grace” that there is a greater reward at the end.

I’m a full-service event company specializing in event planning, coordinating & decor. Birthday, retirement parties, bridal showers, weddings, corporate events & much more. I’m proud of how far I’ve come & the smiles on each client’s face after each event. What sets me apart from others is, I’m passionate, and here to provide the best service possible, and bring each client’s vision to life.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is a reaching a goal or accomplishing something that you have set out to achieve.
