Today we’d like to introduce you to Leneah Willis.
Hi Leneah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As an art major, I have always loved taking photos. The darkroom was a close friend in high school. When I became a mother, I started taking photos with my new Canon and fell head over heals hosting photoshoots. The artistic creativity of preserving memories for other families was a dream come true. Now adding my love for traveling and exploring has lead me to become the photographer I am today. Hands down, I am living my best life.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Between moving three times to further locations in the past four years has been a huge struggle in my business. You almost have to restart from the beginning and prove your worth to your community and make bonds with people around you.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I always love to come up with new ideas! I’ve been published in a few different magazines. My photo of my son and his friends dressed up like Hulk Hogan for his birthday photos was featured on the local news when the photo went viral after Hogan shared the photo on his Instagram. Now my heart is in traveling more than ever. This past year as shown me that life is too short not to do what you love. I have since shot a cruise wedding, a session in the Grand Canyon, traveling all over Florida, sessions back home in Ohio and more planned.
Can you talk about how you think about risk?
I am up for any adventure life brings my way!
