Hi Mariana, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Mariana Garcia Duffy,
Originally from Argentina, I’ve been living in Orlando with my family for the past year. We absolutely love living in Orlando, it’s a city literally filled with magic!.
I’m 48 years old, married for almost 20 years, and have two daughters, ages 16 and 13.
Professionally, I hold a degree as a Clinical Laboratory Technician and also I am a Certified Tourism Specialist
With over 25 years of experience as a travel agent, I’ve developed a passion for creating unforgettable travel experiences.
My husband, Diego Nista, works as an agricultural management analyst , providing expert advice to local businesses.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Throughout my life’s journey, I have experienced numerous challenges, yet I firmly believe that these obstacles have played a pivotal role in shaping my identity and facilitating my personal and professional growth.
I am convinced that every experience, regardless of its perceived positivity or negativity, presents an opportunity for learning and self-improvement. The attitude with which we approach life’s challenges is essential in determining our ability to overcome adversity and achieve success.

With over 25 years of experience in the tourism industry, I’ve worked as a travel agent for most of my life.
In Argentina, I owned and operated my own travel agency, providing personalized travel solutions to clients
Now, I’m proud to be part of One Team Travel, a leading American travel agency.
We offer customized travel solutions for all types of clients and destinations.
My passion is providing individualized support, listening to clients’ needs with empathy, patience, and a positive attitude.

We cherish our downtime in this beautiful city, spending it exploring local gems and, of course, indulging in Disney magic and Universal Studios. Besides theme parks, we’re also beach enthusiasts, spending our weekends beach-hopping and enjoying the Florida coast.
I love that Orlando’s melting pot culture makes it easy to connect with people from all over the world.
If I had to mention something I don’t like as much, it would be the traffic and endless red lights…but no big deal!
