Today we’d like to introduce you to Mary Marsh.
Hi Mary, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Mary. I own and operate Mary Marsh Media with the help of my amazing Fiancé Wiresh (pronounced like Swedish without the “s”).
I grew up in a small town outside of Virginia Beach and moved to Central Florida in 2013. My partner, Wiresh, is originally from Queens, New York but has lived in Central Florida for quite some time now…
Since I can remember, I’ve always had a camera in my hand and have worked hard to hone my craft. I have a passion for capturing beauty in every form and I just LOVE love. There’s something magical about being a part of big moments in my client’s lives. It’s such a privilege being chosen to capture their joy so that they can look back years from now and remember these moments.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have a passion for photography and while I love it more than anything, I have bills to pay. I have been working full time while also running my photography business. Some days working 2 full time jobs is really difficult but we are almost to a place where I will be able to focus solely on my business and will be more capable of meeting my client’s needs because I will have more openings in my schedule!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a photographer and I specialize doing weddings and engagement photography, family photography, maternity and newborn photography.
I LOVE weddings and being able to capture the biggest day in my client’s lives is such an honor. Being able to meet with my clients over coffee or dinner is an amazing time to get to know them so that I can get to know them and tailor their day to what they need and want.
With newborn photography, I actually give my client’s a choice to have me come to their house with my equipment and props so that I can work there while the new parents can rest in the comfort of their own homes.
