Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Orwick.
Michelle, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
After moving to Orlando, FL in 1998 and working in the real estate industry, I found myself thriving during the 1999 real estate boom—but completely burned out. Searching for something deeper, I wandered into a meditation class where, to my great embarrassment, I promptly fell asleep and started snoring. The beautiful and kind instructor didn’t shame me. Instead, with a twinkle in her eye and her psychic grace, she said, “That’s okay—and one day, you’ll teach meditation too.” I laughed out loud.
But something in me awakened.
That moment became a spark. I began devouring every spiritual book, workshop, and tool I could find—taking classes at Avalon, Spiral Circle, and venturing to Cassadaga for readings and trainings. I received my first Reiki attunement, not with the goal of becoming a healer, but simply to feel more whole.
By 2006, I was reading at Universal Studios, joining drum circles, and showing up at every metaphysical event I could find. I received my Reiki II attunement and began working at Avalon, both in the shop and teaching classes. Life had softened. I was connecting, healing, remembering.
But in 2010, everything changed again.
I faced a serious health challenge—one that left me emotionally, spiritually, and physically depleted. I felt like I was unraveling from the inside out. And yet, in the midst of that darkness, I completed my Reiki Mastery. I didn’t do it from a place of strength—I did it from devotion.
And then came the threshold.
I was presented with what I can only call a “death door”—a soul-level invitation to leave this life or fully step in. I chose to stay. And within a week of returning to work, ThetaHealing entered my life like a cosmic lifeline.
I knew it was the next chapter of my path.
I spent the next two years immersed in the teachings, taking every single ThetaHealing class I could find. Eventually, I moved to Idaho Falls for four months and completed my ThetaHealing Mastery and Certificate of Science Instructor certifications—exactly two years to the day from the start of my dark night of the soul, on the Fall Equinox.
Since that time, I have dedicated my life to sacred service—teaching, holding rituals, leading journeys to ancient sites, and guiding one-on-one and community healing through ceremony. My practices weave together multiple forms of shamanism, rooted in the Celtic Wheel of the Year and ancient Egyptian anointing practices. My healing modalities range from Reiki to ThetaHealing, but all are grounded in the soul’s remembrance.
And in 2020, as the world paused, a new portal opened. Marissa Bailey began working with me full-time, and together we began to alchemize my teachings into online programs that could reach seekers all over the world. That partnership became the foundation for a truly global spiritual community—one built on light, truth, and transformation.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When people ask me if it’s been a smooth road, the honest answer is—it’s been both beautiful and demanding. Like two sides of the same coin. I feel incredibly blessed, divinely guided, and yes, some might even call it lucky. But behind that is a deep well of devotion, years of inner work, and an unwavering commitment to the vision Spirit placed on my heart.
The challenges have been real—everything from finding the right venues to navigating the ever-changing tides of social media algorithms. But through it all, I’ve followed a spiritual compass that somehow always keeps me one step ahead of the collective current.
As a Love Leader, I’ve noticed a sacred pattern: I often walk through a personal initiation just before the world is ready to receive that exact healing or teaching. It’s not always easy, but it’s always aligned. It’s as if I’m asked to live the medicine before I can teach it.
And even when the path winds or the terrain gets rough, I know—without question—that I am living my life on purpose. I am exactly where I’m meant to be, walking my divine path.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Spiritual Activator and Soul Guide devoted to helping conscious seekers, healers, and leaders awaken their gifts, align with their divine purpose, and live magically. With over two decades of experience, I weave together modalities like ThetaHealing, Reiki, Egyptian oil temple work, sacred travel, and practical magic to create deeply transformational experiences.
My specialty is activation—helping people remember who they truly are at a soul level. Whether through one-on-one coaching, mystical retreats to Egypt and sacred sites, or immersive programs like MAGICK School and Chakra Magick, I guide clients through powerful initiations that reconnect them to their light, their lineage, and their limitless potential.
I’m known for my ability to blend ancient wisdom with modern tools, all while keeping it grounded, digestible, and joyfully magical. I help people shed what no longer serves them and step boldly into their next evolution—not just spiritually, but emotionally, mentally, and energetically.
What I’m most proud of is the ripple effect this work creates. Watching my clients go on to become empowered teachers, healers, and leaders in their own right fills me with awe and gratitude. I believe we are all here to activate and uplift one another—and I’m honored to play a role in that awakening.
What sets me apart is my multidimensional approach: I don’t just offer tools—I offer initiation. I don’t just teach—I walk beside you as you embody your highest self. And above all, I create sacred spaces where transformation isn’t just possible—it’s inevitable.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
If I had to name one quality that’s been essential to my success, it would be tenacity. When I receive a divine assignment or set an intention, I commit to it with every fiber of my being. I walk the path with unwavering devotion, trusting the process—even when it’s uncomfortable or uncertain. I believe that true success, especially in spiritual work, comes from showing up consistently, aligning with the vision, and letting the universe meet you halfway. That blend of grit and grace has carried me through countless initiations and breakthroughs, and it continues to fuel my sacred work today.
