Hi Nicholas, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Our journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic when, as a parent of three, we had to pivot and get creative while confined to our home. As the neighborhood hangout spot, we gathered various games and activities to keep everyone entertained. Drawing from a background as a former athlete, coach, and avid poker player, what started as a hobby soon evolved into a thriving business that continues to grow and adapt to this day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Our journey has been far from smooth, with challenges including staffing, securing capital, navigating business partnerships, and managing vendor relationships. Despite these obstacles, we take immense pride in our dynamic team, which spans multiple cultures and represents a variety of ethnicities. With a bilingual team, we’ve been able to connect with and support a diverse range of clients and customers, ensuring that no one has ever been turned away. This commitment to inclusivity and service is at the heart of who we are.

Luck is something we all hope to have on our side, whether in video games, poker, or life itself—bringing to mind the saying, “It’s better to be lucky than good.” However, I believe luck isn’t guaranteed. Instead, good karma, unwavering consistency, and a relentless drive to grow and elevate have been the true cornerstones of my life and business. These values, more than luck, have paved the way for success and continuous progress.
A quote from my father has guided me throughout life: “Success is never final. The elevator to success is broken; you must take the stairs.” This principle emphasizes perseverance and continuous effort, values I live by and share with others.
