Today we’d like to introduce you to Nola Viva.
Nola, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As a young girl, I’ve always enjoyed showcasing my creativity in entertainment. As I grew up, I was thrilled to be part of different dance organizations. Once I officially became an adult, my creative desire switched to creating content in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle.
I started making beauty YouTube videos in 2016 and sharing fashion looks from Amazon on Instagram. I truly enjoyed finding interesting products and giving my honest opinion on them to help other interested buyers. Despite my slow-growing audience, I kept posting for 5 years in hopes of making my love for content creation my full-time job.
In 2021, I started creating content on Tiktok and my life changed. I was able to grow my audience and income tremendously. One of my videos went viral, and I posted it on all of my social media accounts. This video helped me grow over 30K followers on each social media platform. I was finally able to do what I loved full time while sharing interesting and useful finds with viewers.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Oh honey, absolutely not!
There were many years I invested a lot of money and time into videos that would barely get 300 views. I made little to no money for the first 4 years. There were many times I’d spend several hours or days creating and editing content and something crazy would happen. My computer or hard drive would lose all my footage and I’d have to start over.
I’m currently trying not to lose my mind while having issues with exporting a YouTube video I’ve been working on for days now. I’ve also had to overcome self-doubt, fear, and comparisons.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a content creator and influencer. I create content in the beauty, fashion, and lifestyle niches for women. I’m known for my “amazon finds.” I love finding unique products on Amazon that can solve a problem that many people have.
I film high-quality short videos showcasing exactly how cool these products are. I’m most proud of being known for my Amazon finds and honest reviews because I feel that’s what sets me apart.
