Hi Sharí, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I made the bold decision to move to Jacksonville, Florida seeking new opportunities and exploring a fresh environment. I took a significant step towards achieving my career goals by enrolling in Paul Mitchell the school-Jacksonville, to obtain a cosmetology license.
During my time at school, I collaborated with fellow students from varied backgrounds, all driven by a shared passion for the craft.
This experience also introduced me to clients interested in my Custom Fashion services. Resulting in a loyal client base and a reputation for quality work.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
In an ideal world, it would have been a breeze. I’m thankful for the opportunity to explore new paths and discover hidden strengths. In life there will be many twists and turns that we must navigate and adapt. When bringing a fresh voice to the table, everyone may not welcome it but that’s what makes it transformative.

With a focus on quality, creativity, client satisfaction, I strive to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone can feel valued, empowered and beautiful.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
In my youth, I was very introverted but ambitious and imaginative. I struggled to express myself through spoken language, so I relied on art as a means of self expression.
During my middle and high school years, I took pleasure in drawing , hairstyling, and artwork for friends; also promoting a positive attitude and participating in various groups and clubs to enhance my personal growth and freedom.
