Today we’d like to introduce you to Sparkles Holley
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
It was after Covid and at the time I was working from home as a project manager for Bed Bath & Beyond. It was the “side hustle” era lol…..kind of during/after Covid. I watched my daughter build her lash business from the dining room while she also worked a full time work from home job. That inspired me to discover what my side hustle would be. It didn’t take me long to figure out that it would be nails because I always kept my nails done I was definitely a nail girlie lol. The girl that was doing my daughter’s nails at the time was FIRE (still is) so I asked her if she did classes…….A 450$ investment and 8hrs later, I had all the tools I needed to start my own nail business. To sharpen my skills I attended nail school and obtained my license.
One year later after working and doing nails on the side, my job laid me off! A few months later they went out of business. I swear it wasn’t anyone but GOD that led me to take that class and start making money for myself because after 15 yrs of management in the call center I wouldn’t have imagined that I would be making just as much as a project manager as an entrepreneur in my 2nd full year of business!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For me, it’s mostly been smooth. I can say that it’s important to have a support system when transitioning into entrepreneurship. That will allow you to calmly establish a well run business and not stress over bills etc.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business specializes in acrylics nails and toe application and design.
The one thing my clients are guaranteed to tell anyone is that my nails LAST! They stay on forever lol and the charms do too! It’s important to me that you get a bad a** set that also has longevity! People work hard for their money so I like to make my clients feel like they got their monies worth if not more! Sh*t too expensive these days lol
Anyone that come sit with me is guaranteed to leave super happy with their service from the customer service…. To the vibe and especially the nails 🙂

Yes!
You can turn anything that you enjoy/love doing into money! People want to SPEND! They want to BUY! Your only challenge is finding something they’re interested in.
Life is too short to live for others live for YOU and make money doing it lol
