Hi Stephanie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2016 when I attended cosmetology school in the Bronx, NY. That’s where my passion for hair and lash extensions truly took off. I started my career working out of my living room and providing mobile beauty services all over NYC, completely falling in love with making people feel their best.
In 2021, I put everything on pause to start my family. Just three months after having my first child, I found out I was expecting again. With my husband working as an over-the-road driver, we made the decision to move to Florida and start fresh. As a new mom of two under two, I had to rebuild my business from the ground up. It was a challenge, but I worked harder than ever to get back to where I was in NYC.
Today, I’m a licensed cosmetologist, a three-time certified lash specialist, a lash educator, and a mobile beauty specialist. The journey hasn’t been easy, but I wouldn’t change a thing—it’s made me who I am today.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting over in a new state was one of the biggest challenges I faced. In NYC, I had built a strong clientele and a reputation, but when I moved to Florida, I had to start from scratch. I didn’t know anyone, and I had to figure out how to market myself in a completely different environment. On top of that, I was a new mom with two babies under two, trying to juggle motherhood and rebuilding my business at the same time. There were moments of self-doubt, exhaustion, and financial pressure, but I refused to give up. I pushed myself to work harder than ever—networking, improving my skills, and finding ways to stand out in the beauty industry here.
Another struggle was balancing my personal and professional life. Being a wife, a mother, and an entrepreneur all at once meant I had to make sacrifices and learn to manage my time wisely. There were days when I felt stretched too thin, questioning if I could truly grow my business while raising my kids. But every challenge taught me resilience. I learned how to adapt, stay consistent, and focus on long-term success rather than immediate results. Now, I’m proud to say I’ve not only reestablished my business, but I’ve elevated it to a whole new level. The struggles were tough, but they shaped me into the beauty professional I am today.

Whether working in my salon suite or traveling for mobile appointments, my goal is to deliver an elevated, stress-free experience that leaves clients feeling confident and beautiful.

I appreciate the spaciousness of this area and the diverse array of family-friendly activities available , it truly offers endless opportunities for quality time with my kids. On the other hand, I do find that the Disney areas tend to be overly crowded, which can sometimes detract from the overall experience.
