Stephanie Massaker

Hi Stephanie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Years ago, I dreamed of traveling with my kids, having freedom of time, and getting paid to travel. I honestly never thought it would happen. But I still wrote down my goals and dreams as if they happened for years every morning. I was creating content online, and after taking my first trip working with hotels and theme parks, I was completely hooked. After dreaming of it for years, I knew I was where I was meant to be. I started working hard to create content that helped parents stress less while traveling with their kids. And now, I’m in Orlando just about every month, living my dream of traveling with my kids as part of my full time job.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been easy. There were many years of doing multiple full-time jobs while raising little kids to create this dream. It was not instant success as it may seem to people online. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes. I had to learn a whole new industry, become a photographer, videographer, and editor, reach out to brands, and try to do all this while having another carrier to pay the bills. As a mom, it was exhausting and overwhelming at times. I felt like I was never giving my kids, job, husband, or house enough time. All while still feeling like I wasn’t doing enough on social media. It can also be very discouraging to compare yourself to others in this field. So, no, it hasn’t always been a smooth road, but it was always worth it. I will always be proud of how I showed my kids that hard work pays off when chasing your dreams.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Right now, I’m a travel and lifestyle content creator. My kids and I love to travel to our favorite place (Disney World) and beyond. I create travel vlogs of our adventures, share Disney Tips & Tricks, and share my best practices on traveling with kids, saving money, and hacks to help save your sanity while traveling with kids.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
This is a hard one, but I define success as providing for my family while creating memories with my loved ones. It’s hard to get caught up in the numbers or comparison game, but if I went back to 5-6 years ago and painted a picture of my perfect life, I would say I’m currently living it. So, on the days I think my success is lacking, I think back to when I just wanted to go on a trip with my kids, and now that’s our reality every month. I’m very blessed.
