Today we’d like to introduce you to Tim Nightingale, Jr.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I currently run my own logistics company and have also recently accepted a Managerial position at MZM Transports.
I worked at Nolan Transportation Group for 5 years before starting my own business in 2019. I currently have up to 3 trucks in my fleet and have recently accepted a role as Operations Manager at MZM Transports.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all. I currently specialize in box trucks, but the plan was to have sprinter vans, but along came covid.
I lost all my business and was forced to transition over to box trucks. I never had dreams of running my own business, just saw the opportunity present itself and ran with it.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We specialize in commercial expedited shipments all across Florida, but primarily in Central Florida. We are known to most of our customers (who ship nationwide) as “The Florida Guys”.
Who else deserves credit for your story?
My family is such a huge support system.
My brother and 2 parents give me the support I need to make this happen. And of course God. Some good close friends in my corner as well. Honestly, the whole Orlando community has been so great and supportive. I went to UCF and a lot of people in the city are always rooting for me!
