Today we’d like to introduce you to Tomisin Dada and Damola Olukoya. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Silvermark studios started as an idea five years ago when two lifelong friends Ade and Tomi decided to put their passion, knowledge, and experience in film making, audio, and entertainment production to work. The idea behind this was birthed from their passion to pursue the highest level of quality in entertainment when it comes to visuals, lighting, audio, graphics design, digital marketing, and all forms of entertainment. The studio has been a hub for several brands, businesses, local and international creatives, and artists to bring their creative dreams to life. We started by selling computers and personal devices, emptying saving accounts to buy production equipment. The team has been privileged to work with amazing artists like Bushman, Eve Kawadza from Zimbabwe, Rich Blair, EMG, Valencia College, and a whole lot of talented creatives and brands. Silvermark studio is looking to expand in 2022, work with more local business owners, brands, agencies, creatives, and investors.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all, I think 90% of creatives, artists, small business owners, and brands that started from scratch (self-funded) will tell you how much of a challenge it is. The biggest hurdles are usually finances, operational and overhead costs, equipment, getting your name out there, and structure. We are still a work in progress but definitely not giving up on these entertainment production dreams because it is what we eat, drink and think about 24/7.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Silvermark studio specializes in audiovisual production for all forms of entertainment. As you know entertainment is really broad and diverse. We are a studio focused on developing custom content, film, commercials, docuseries, live/virtual concerts, digital marketing, social and sporting event coverage, audio recording, composition, podcasts, post-production services, branding, and digital strategies. Silvermark studio is known for the quality we strive to achieve in all of our production with our clients. We constantly push for the highest levels with our production team, making sure the lighting, audio levels, picture quality, and every standard of creativity are raised to blow the minds of our clients. Those details and the extent we go to bring creative dreams to life are what sets us apart. It doesn’t matter if it is a small or big-budget production, our services will be tailored to your needs.
How do you think about happiness?
The thought of being able to be in an industry that we are passionate about and doing what we love the most (creating) gives us the ultimate joy.
