Hi Tracy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always loved creating special moments, and I’ve been event planning for over 15 years. But the idea for my business really came together during COVID. Like a lot of people, I was trying to find ways to still celebrate with close friends and family in a safe, meaningful way. Eventually, I started helping others who were feeling overwhelmed or just didn’t have the time. When things opened back up, it was clear a lot of people felt the same and were moving away from big clubs and venues in favor of more personalized, meaningful experiences. That’s when CHIC dreams was born! Now I get to mix my love for event design with a stress-free, luxury approach to adult sleepovers and picnics that bring unique, at-home celebrations to life. Talk about a (CHIC) dream job!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Balancing the creative and business sides of running a company definitely had its learning curve. Plus, starting a new luxury service in a competitive market like Orlando came with its own set of challenges. That’s why building trust and credibility is such a priority for me. It’s all about refining my offerings, figuring out how and when to connect with my audience, and making sure every client experience is truly special. Honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing. CHIC dreams has grown so much, and so have I.

CHIC Dreams is a Central Florida-based event planning business that brings a fresh, modern vibe to at-home celebrations. We specialize in upscale adult slumber parties and chic picnic events that reimagine the nostalgia of these classic parties with a sophisticated, Instagram-worthy twist. Our goal is simple: to turn normal hangouts into unforgettable experiences that are as stylish as they are fun.
We stand out by taking all the stress out of planning. From setup to teardown, we handle every detail so our clients can sit back, relax, and enjoy the moment. We’re all about delivering creative, personalized, and luxurious events that feel like they were made just for them and their guests. Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t believe in luck, but I absolutely believe in blessings. I’m so incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had which I see as the combination of preparation, hard work and great relationshipsI’ve been fortunate enough to learn from- be it clients, mentors or collaborators. It’s all played a part in shaping this journey and getting to do this thing I genuinely love- bring people together to celebrate life’s special moments. It’s truly a (Chic) dream job for me. 😍
