Today we’d like to introduce you to Trent Carson.
Hi Trent, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
As a young child around 13 years old, I started singing at Tangleo Baptist Church which was in my community. Tangelo Baptist was a part of my village and birthed my passion for music and singing. The passion that was birthed in me caused me to begin to sight read drum music, learn music theory, and this took place all through being surrounded by many at Tangleo Baptist church. I fell in love with music at a young age singing in the choir and praise team. At the age of 16, my life took a drastic change that would change my life forever I experienced a life-threatening event, I became a victim of gun violence which led me in a pit of depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts I thought my life was ruined. I still attended church and I had church leaders mentoring me and my family right beside me then one day I got tired of fighting and surrendered my life over to Jesus I remember being in my room on my knees and turning on a worship song and I would close my eyes and tears would flow down my face and I would immediately feel the presence of Jesus enter my room and at that moment He baptized me in the Holy Ghost. 5 years later brings me to up to today The Lord has given me a burden for souls, he gave me the beautiful burden to win souls no matter where I go through the prophetic evangelistic ministry. In the past 5 years, I have seen countless souls come to Christ through the preaching of the gospel, through my music, and street preaching.
I have been on live tv, live radio broadcasts and have been traveling across the country preaching the gospel and seeing radical healings and miracles with my own eyes. This year I will be in The Uk, Brazil, and more places spreading this gospel and I won’t stop until the whole world hears the good news of Jesus Christ.
I currently am the Worship Pastor at a Spanish church called La Iglesia Nazaret. The Lord called me there 2 years ago it was not easy obeying the Lord as I made the transition from Tangelo Baptist Church to La Iglesia Nazaret. I can say I have learned that obedience comes before understanding. I live to glorify the Lord in all I do I recognize it is not about me, it is all about Jesus, and for the rest of my life, I will serve him and glorify him.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth ride, I have encountered many obstacles, but with God, my family, church, and great mentorship I have overcome to get where I am today!

As a Pastor, Artist and Revivalist my days are very busy. Praying, planning, listening to God for the next step and move. I have to stay in prayer and stay focused since my responsibility is great. I’m most known for my boldness at my age. I preach in the streets, malls, restaurants and where ever the Lord leads me. This has made people look and listen to me in a world full of stereotypes of preachers being clothed in suits, and robes and I show up as a young man in regular clothes and I don’t look like the average preacher. I am most proud of my stand, it has created a movement for young people to be themselves and serve Christ with the same boldness. Through me being me I believe I crush the spirit of religion off of people’s lives. That being said what I believe sets me apart is that I extend the healing ministry of Christ with boldness and being unashamed.
How do you think about luck?
The word Luck is not in my verbiage. I do not believe in luck, I believe what is planned for my life is what sets me in a blessed place. I believe that what God has for me is for me and because he knew me before the foundation of the earth the plan for my life was already set. The scripture I live by is Jeremiah 29:11- which says I know the plans I have for you that to prosper you not to harm you but to give you a hope and a future.
