Hi Twin Suns, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We are a genre-blurring force in surf rock. Most of us are from Fernandina Beach, Florida. We met another guitarist from Gainesville who completed our sonic blend while at school in Jacksonville.
From then, we’ve done gigs across Florida for years and, more recently, we played up north in Atlanta, Charlotte, and D.C. The experience was unforgettable and we had an amazing time! Now we’re planning to travel to the west coast next year.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Distance has always been a bottleneck for us! Currently there are two of the members who live in Orlando, one is in Jacksonville, one in Gainesville, and our fifth in Fernandina Beach.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
People tell us that our sound is distinct from other artists and that does set us apart in my mind.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
We’ve taken plenty of risks such as traveling up to D.C. and back! We plan on traveling out to the west coast next year!
