Today we’d like to introduce you to Valentin Vega.
Hi Valentin, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started this business because God clearly guided me to it. After working in Illinois, I returned home expecting to be hired quickly, but no doors opened. At the time, it was confusing and discouraging but God had a better plan.
When my brother-in-law’s AC broke down, the technician who repaired it shared that he also trained and helped others get licensed. My wife and I prayed deeply about our next step, asking God for direction since no one was hiring me. God answered our prayers by placing the right person in our path at the right time.
I stepped out in faith, trusting the Lord. As I learned the trade, I realized how much I enjoyed working with electricity, hands-on projects, and being active outdoors. What I never expected became a calling.
Today, by God’s grace, I own my own HVAC and handyman company, Val Home Solutions. I am incredibly grateful for how God works behind the scenes and for my amazing wife and family who have supported me every step of the way. This business is a testimony of faith, obedience, and God opening doors no one else could.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. One of our biggest challenges has been learning to truly trust God with our “daily manna.” As business owners, our income is directly tied to the work we do, unlike the corporate world where a paycheck is guaranteed as long as you work your scheduled hours. This lifestyle has a completely different rhythm, one that continually calls us back to remembering where our trust and dependence truly lie. Having friends and family who are also business owners has been incredibly helpful; their mentorship and encouragement have been a gift along the way.

We run a family owned home services business, and we really focus on delivering honest, top-notch quality with a whole lot of integrity. We specialize in HVAC maintenance and installations, window and solar panel cleaning, and just generally helping folks keep their homes in great shape.
What sets us apart and what people know us for is our rock-solid reliability and our attention to detail. We’re proud that from the very first moment a customer meets us, they feel that trust. We take the time to do things right, treat their homes like our own, and really let that integrity shine through.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that honesty will take you very far. It opens doors, builds trust, and creates strong, lasting relationships with customers. When people know they can trust you, everything else flows from there.
