Story & Lesson Highlights with Christine B. of Melbourne, FL

Christine B. shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Christine, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
Venturing on a new chapter in your life can be challenging. I have struggled with reading and comprehension in the past; presently, I feel that I have learned new ways to overcome my fear of reading out loud.

I never thought that I would do this, but I am coming out with a book. It does not matter how long I have silently been working on it; It’s something that I have to do on my own.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a licensed talent agent, recording artist, actress, producer, and traveling vocalist. My brand is BVIP Entertainment, LLC; aka “BVIP.”

When you a part of BVIP, you are part of a movement. I think big. I like impact, energy, positivity, and integrity. “Cutting edge entertainment made simple,” is truly our standard.

When you have a roster of almost 200 individuals, life becomes interesting to say the least! We have everything from solo musicians to an entire Polynesian dance troop. We are the number one booking agency in the area due to the exceedingly high level of talent that fits with the venues we serve. Our clients are always happy and have repeatedly called upon us.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
I think that I would like to focus on being an author and mentoring individuals. I have done just about every aspect in the entertainment industry, and I feel that I can press in on buying talent and producing events.

When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
I had a strange childhood. Although the past is the past, I can remember things that happened as if they happened yesterday. Music was, and still is, my sense of comfort and healing.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My inner circle would definitely say that my daughter really matters to me. I think she is the reason I have grown into the person I am today. Sometimes you have to step outside of the box, take accountability for mistakes, and heal. Nobody is perfect, however, we can learn to overcome the past.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If immortality were real, what would you build?
Great question! I would build compound housing with a huge school in the middle surrounded by rivers and lakes, with hidden places to explore. There would be plenty of resources for everyone; and of course, music would be everywhere!
