Story & Lesson Highlights with Xavier Hamilton

Xavier Hamilton shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Xavier, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A typical day for us starts with a quick bite, then we dive into reviewing analytics to see which content is performing best. From there, we’ll usually meet up with associates to go over future plans, head into filming, and work on producing and scheduling content. But it’s not all work — we make sure to enjoy the parks too, whether that’s hopping on rides or trying new food spots around Orlando.”

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Xavier, the creator behind Thrills Taste Travels. I focus on the intersection of food and theme parks — from breaking down new menus and snacks to capturing the energy of attractions and events around Orlando. What makes TTT unique is that it’s not just reviews; it’s about telling the story of the experience, whether that’s the first bite of a seasonal treat or the excitement of a brand-new ride. Right now, I’m working on expanding into more in-depth guides, behind-the-scenes stories, and creative projects that blend immersive storytelling with theme park culture.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a kid, I used to believe that traveling to the places I wanted to visit was way too expensive and out of reach. Over time, I learned that with planning, creativity, and prioritizing experiences, travel is actually more attainable than I thought. Now I see it as something possible — and worth making happen.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fears that held me back the most were running out of money, traveling alone, and worrying about what people might think of me as being ‘weird.’ Over time, I’ve overcome them by focusing on return on investment with my choices, embracing solo travel as a chance to grow, and realizing that being different is actually what makes me stand out.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes and no. The public version of me is definitely me — everyone knows I’m always late for things, even this interview. But what people might not realize is that I’m not as organized as I sometimes appear to be.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If immortality were real, what would you build?
If immortality were real, I’d dedicate my time to building a nonprofit that helps ex-felons with employment. Everyone deserves a second chance, and creating real opportunities for them to rebuild their lives would have an impact that lasts far beyond me.
